Pastor Anthony Kidd is a native of Los Angeles, where he currently lives with his wife Sherry, and five children, Jonathan Paul, Isaiah Andrew, Mikayla Rose, Julia Grace, and Timothy James. Anthony was raised in a Christian home in the Los Angeles area where he regularly attended church and made a profession of faith at age 13. Having received a basketball scholarship to Washington State University, Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1990. From 1990 to 1998 he worked in Sales and Marketing in both Seattle and Los Angeles.

Being convinced that his profligate lifestyle and Christian profession did not match, by the grace of God, Anthony was genuinely converted at the age 25 and immediately sensed God's calling into the Gospel ministry. Anthony entered The Master's Seminary in 1998 and graduated Magna Cum Laude earning his Master of Divinity degree in 2001. In addition to the pastorate, he serves as a Professor at the Los Angeles Bible Training School. He is frequently called upon to speak at church retreats and Bible conferences. As a student of Scripture, Ezra 7:10 sums up Anthony's raison dêtre , " For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the Lord and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel ."

Pastor Reaver Bingham was born in the city of Los Angeles. He, along with his three siblings, were reared by loving Christian parents who taught them the value of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the importance of the local church and the significance of a good name. Despite growing up in a Christian home and making an early profession of faith, it was not until his mid twenties that he come into a true, saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Reaver is married and is the father of four beautiful children. He is a University graduate and has completed studies in Bible and Missiology.

He currently gives oversight to our Missions and Outreach ministries.

"How Did it all Begin?"

In November of 1992, several concerned Christian men from the community met together to discuss the need for a Bible-based church on the west side of Los Angeles. After much prayer and discussion, several of the men from that meeting believed that God was leading them to start a church plant effort even though questions as to the specific location and the specific person for pastoral leadership were unanswered.

In the providence of God and in answer to prayer, in June of 1993, God led the Elders of Grace Community Church of Sun Valley to support one of their staff Pastors, Carl Hargrove, as he would offer pastoral leadership to our church planting effort.In August of the same year, Westside Bible Church was started.

After almost 13 years of faithful service, Pastor Hargrove, sensing God's direction elsewhere, left Westside Bible church to pursue other ministerial opportunities. The church then called its Associate Pastor, Anthony Kidd, to take the position of Senior Pastor.

Anthony Kidd is an ordained minister having received a Master of Divinity degree in 2001 from The Master's Seminary. Pastor Kidd has a passion for preaching God's Word and seeks to faithfully lead God's people into the perfect will of Jesus Christ.
